Although it’s past November 1st and has officially become Christmas season, I’m still celebrating all things autumn until Thanksgiving.
So, in honor of cherishing my love for fall, I decided to make a spiced pumpkin and sweet potato smoothie!
Everyone loves pumpkin spice…but in my opinion, spiced/cinnamony sweet potato is even better! I’m kinddd of on a sweet potato kick lately.
Here’s the recipe:
-½ can pumpkin
-1 sweet potato (baked and chopped)
-½ cup plain nonfat greek yogurt
-½ cup almond milk
-1 tablespoon almond butter (I used homemade almond butter, Nutri-Ninja FTW)
-1 tablespoon flax and chia seeds
-1 teaspoon cinnamon
-1 teaspoon nutmeg
-dash of allspice
